Pedestrian dies after being hit by motorcycle in Hetauda



HETAUDA: A 61-year-old pedestrian, Kamal Bahadur Bohara, succumbed to his injuries after being hit by a motorcycle in Sallaghari, Hetauda Sub-metropolitan City-6, Makawanpur.

According to the District Police Office, Bohara was critically injured in the accident and passed away this morning while undergoing treatment.

The accident occurred on Wednesday evening when a motorcycle (Na 54 Pa 1876) struck Bohara. After receiving initial treatment at Hetauda Hospital, Bohara was referred to New Medical College in Bharatpur, Chitwan, for further care.

Despite medical efforts, he died due to the severity of his injuries.

The motorcyclist, identified as Bidur Sapkota, is currently on the run, and the Area Police Office in Chaughada has launched a search to apprehend him.
