University as a key foundation for research, innovation, and social transformation



KARNALI: Chief Minister of Karnali Province, Yamlal Kandel, emphasized that universities are crucial foundations for research, innovation, and social transformation.

Kandel stated that universities are not just centers for teaching but also platforms for research, innovation, and social change.

He commended Mid-West University’s initiative in hosting the conference, noting that such events would help establish the university as a significant institution both nationally and internationally.

The Chief Minister expressed his confidence that the ideas and outcomes of the conference would contribute to the development and prosperity of Karnali Province, as well as to the academic excellence of the university.

The academic event aims to bring together scholars, educators, researchers, and stakeholders from various fields to foster learning, collaboration, and innovation.

Scholars from several countries, including Nepal, India, and the USA, are participating in the conference. According to Mid-West University, this interdisciplinary gathering is designed to provide a platform for academic advancement through focused workshops and engaging sessions.

Panel discussions will cover topics such as Industry-Academic Collaboration, Social Responsibility for Good Governance, and Reimagining Professional Development and Pedagogical Growth.
