Nepal’s Ambassador to Spain presents credentials to King Felipe VI



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Ambassador to Spain, Shanil Nepal, presented his credentials to Spain King Felipe VI during a special ceremony in Madrid.

Following the ceremony, the Nepali Embassy in Madrid mentioned that Ambassador Nepal had a brief discussion with King Felipe VI about various aspects of the relationship between Nepal and Spain during their courtesy call.

On behalf of President Ram Chandra Poudel, the Government of Nepal, and the people of Nepal, Ambassador Nepal extended his wishes for the King’s personal happiness, good health, and the continued prosperity of the people of Spain.

He also discussed Nepal’s foreign policy, development priorities, efforts to address climate change challenges, and the importance of international cooperation in tackling environmental issues, as stated in a press release issued by the embassy on Tuesday.
