Gold, silver prices dip after hitting record highs



KATHMANDU: Gold and silver prices declined on Thursday, retreating from recent record highs.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold fell by Rs 600 per tola to Rs 267,500. On the previous day, gold had traded at Rs 268,100 per tola, marking an all-time high.

Similarly, silver prices also edged down. Silver decreased by Rs 20 per tola to Rs 4,400, compared to Rs 4,420 per tola recorded a day earlier.
