All must shoulder responsibilities for the nation



KATHMANDU: First Lady Radhika Shakya has said that everyone should shoulder responsibilities for the sake of the nation.

At a Teej festival celebration program organized by the National Youth Association here today, she said that not everyone in the country need to be involved in politics. “Many people have asked me why you have not entered politics,” she said, “Not everyone in the country should do politics. Everyone has their own place, interest and area.”

Shakya, spouse of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, said that the Youth Association should address the increasing negativity and jealousy and envy that are prevalent in the society. She instead called for patience, discipline and discretion among the people.

Both the present and future of the country are in the hands of the youth, she said, “If you engage in good deeds both the present and the future will be good. If you stray, both the present and the future will not be good.”

At the program, Youth Association President Kshitij Thebe said that the youth have an important role in building the future of the country, while it is necessary to lead the youth on the right path.
