Man killed by younger brother in Siraha



SIRAHA: A man was fatally attacked by his younger brother in Golbazar Municipality–3, Musaharnia, Siraha, on Thursday evening following a domestic dispute, police said.

According to the Area Police Office in Golbazar, 25-year-old Shyam Sada attacked his 35-year-old brother Motiram Sada with a khukuri during a heated argument. Reports indicate that the victim had stepped in to break up a family quarrel when he was struck.

Motiram sustained serious injuries to his chest and was rushed to the Provincial Hospital in Lahan for treatment. However, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.

Police Inspector Govinda Prasad Sah confirmed that the accused, Shyam Sada, fled the scene immediately after the incident and remains at large. A manhunt has been launched to locate and apprehend him.

The body has been kept at the hospital for post-mortem examination. Authorities have initiated further investigation into the incident.
