ANNFSU (Revolutionary) elects new leadership today



KATHMANDU: Elections for the future leadership of the ANNFSU (Revolutionary), a student wing affiliated with the Maoist Center, are being held today under the 23rd National Conference.

According to the election committee, voting will take place from seven geographical provinces and two non-geographic provinces.

The voting process, scheduled from 9 am to 4 pm, will see 2,450 delegates from across the country casting their votes to select the new leadership.

Five candidates are in the running for the post of president. Upesh Yadav, Vijay Prakash Sapkota, Sudin Poudel, Yogendra Budha, and Hemanta Rai have officially announced their candidacies, vying for the top position in the organization.

The conference will also elect 33 office bearers, a 48-member secretariat, and 162 central members to lead the organization.

This election marks a significant step in shaping the future direction of the ANNFSU (Revolutionary) as it seeks to empower youth leadership within the political framework of the CPN-Maoist Center.
