Govt to monitor offices of RSP, RPP, and Janamat Party today



KATHMANDU: The government is set to monitor the offices of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), and Janamat Party today.

A high-level political dialogue committee, formed by the government to create a conducive environment for the upcoming elections, will visit the offices of the three parties and hold discussions with their leaders.

According to the schedule, the committee will visit the Janamat Party office at 11:00 am, the RPP office at 1:00 pm, and the RSP office at 3:00 pm.

The committee was formed under the coordination of Minister for Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Anil Sinha and includes Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel and the Prime Minister’s Chief Political Advisor Ajaya Bhadra Khanal.

As the environment for the House of Representatives elections, scheduled for March 5, 2026, takes shape, the government has stepped up talks and dialogues with political stakeholders.

Minister Kharel, who also serves as the government spokesperson, said the visits aim to create a favorable atmosphere for the elections and encourage political parties to focus on the electoral process.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the committee visited the offices of the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, and the Nepali Communist Party to monitor and interact with their leaders.
