PM Oli meets Bipin Joshi’s family

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Saturday met with the mother and sister of Bipin Joshi, the Nepali national held hostage by Hamas in Israel.

Joshi’s mother, Padma, and sister, Pushpa, returned from Israel earlier this week and met the Prime Minister in Kathmandu. Oli shared a photo of the meeting on Facebook, assuring that the government is leaving “no stone unturned” in its efforts to secure Joshi’s release.

During their stay in Israel, the family, with support from the Nepali Embassy, met Israeli President Isaac Herzog and the Speaker of the Knesset to push for Joshi’s safe release.

Oli reiterated that the government is fully committed to continuing diplomatic efforts for his rescue.
