Taking to social media on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli wrote, “Today is the memorial day of Comrade Pushpalal, the founding general secretary of the Communist Party of Nepal. High respects and heartfelt tributes to the revered leader Pushpalal!”

Commemorative events are being held across the country by various communist parties to mark the day and honor Pushpalal’s life, ideology, and lasting impact on Nepali politics.
