Man arrested for strangling wife to death in Parsa



PARSA: A man has been arrested on charges of strangling his wife to death in Parsa.

Safiraja Miyan of Jagarnathpur Rural Municipality-4 was taken into custody on Sunday for allegedly murdering his wife, Lal Bibi Khatun, on Saturday night.

District Police Office spokesperson Kishor Lamsal stated that Miyan was remanded in custody for five days by the District Court and that the police are continuing their investigation.

According to the police, Miyan killed his wife because she did not treat him well after he returned home following a long period of working away. Further investigation is ongoing.
