KATHMANDU: The Mahanagar Yatayat Pvt. Ltd. has brought into operation bus service from Chandragiri Primary Hospital, Thankot to Dhulikhel.
Forty public buses will be operated on the route which is expected to make it easier to commute, especially between the tourist spots Chandragiri and Dhulikhel.
Launched today, the bus service will be operated on the Chandragiri-Godown-Check Post-Gurjudhara-Satungal-Kalanki-Balkhu-Koteshwor-Bhaktapur-Banepa-Dhulikhel route.
Inaugurating the ‘Primary Hospital Thankot-Dhulikhel Bus Service’, Chandragiri Municipality Mayor Ghanashyam Giri expressed the hope that the bus service would facilitate travel between Chandragiri and Dhulikhel.
He said the municipality has given high priority to improve public transport within the municipality.
