Meetings of four parliamentary committees scheduled for today

KATHMANDU: Four committees under the federal parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.

The Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee, Infrastructure Development Committee, Public Account Committee, and Committee for Legislation Management will convene in Singha Durbar.

The Agriculture, Cooperative, and Natural Resources Committee meeting will begin at 11 a.m., focusing on discussions with stakeholders regarding preparedness and mitigation of damages caused by winter wildfires in Nepal.

The Infrastructure Development Committee is also set to meet at 11 a.m. to conduct a clause-by-clause discussion on the Water Resources Bill, 2081.

Similarly, the Public Account Committee will hold its meeting at 11 a.m. in its chamber to deliberate on issues related to cement production and market pricing.

The Committee for Legislation Management is scheduled to meet at 11:30 a.m. The agenda includes a detailed discussion on the Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081.
