NEPSE index drops by 19 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index experienced a double-digit decline today, falling by 19.92 points to close at 2,595.10.

A total of 12.99 million shares of 345 companies were traded 70,576 times, generating a turnover of Rs 4.52 billion, according to NEPSE. All sub-indices, except for mutual funds, recorded losses during today’s trading session.

In today’s market movements, the share price of SY Panel Nepal Limited hit the upper price limit, while Sindhu Bikash Bank Limited shares fell to the lower price limit.
