Four parliamentary committees to convene meetings today

KATHMANDU: Four committees under the federal parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today, including the Public Account Committee, the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Welfare Committee, the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee 2074, and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.

The meetings will take place at Singha Durbar between 11 AM and 3 PM.

The Public Account Committee will discuss issues identified by its subcommittees and address complaints submitted to the committee.

The Industry, Commerce, Labour, and Consumer Welfare Committee plans to review the bill on electronic commerce, 2080.

The Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee will focus on the operations of the Office of the Attorney General.

Meanwhile, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will hold discussions with the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation.

Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Minister Badri Prasad Pandey has been invited to participate in the discussion.
