My fight continues; victory is yet to be achieved: Rabi Lamichhane

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has said that his struggle is far from over and that victory is yet to be achieved.

Addressing supporters outside the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan International Airport after arriving in Kathmandu on Saturday, Lamichhane clarified that his fight is not personal but one for justice for the country and future generations.

He said he does not want to waste time abusing individuals who have already been sidelined, adding instead that he is thinking about how they will be remembered and placed in history with dignity and respect.

According to him, whether they deserve an honorable place in history depends on their own words and actions.

Lamichhane claimed that those who call themselves “new” forces will now come together, reiterating that he entered politics not for a single election but for generations to come. He stressed the need for collective effort to fulfill the dreams of youths whose aspirations have been crushed.

He also noted that security personnel are often injured during movements and emphasized that their concerns should also be addressed in the process of change. Despite facing multiple cases, Lamichhane reaffirmed his commitment to continue the struggle for as long as he lives.
