JSP-N chief whip Ram Ashish Yadav files nomination for Madhesh Provincial Assembly Speaker



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal (JSP-N) Chief Whip Ram Ashish Yadav filed his nomination on Saturday for the post of Speaker of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly.

Yadav submitted his candidacy with the support of seven political parties. According to Provincial Assembly Secretary Basu Prasad Koirala, Nepali Congress lawmaker Birendra Singh is the proposer, while Fakira Mahato of the Maoist Centre is the supporter.

Yadav was elected as a member of the Madhesh Provincial Assembly from Dhanusha constituency No. 2 (B).
