Renovation works underway in partially damaged ministries inside Singha Durbar

KATHMANDU: Renovation and maintenance works have begun in ministries inside Singha Durbar that were partially damaged during the Gen-Z protests.

Following the September 9 arson attacks, repair and repainting works are being carried out so that the affected ministries can resume operations.

According to the Ministry of Urban Development, damaged windows and doors are being replaced, and furniture along with other essential items are being installed.

While the Office of the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and several other ministries were completely destroyed, some ministries sustained only partial damage. Renovation works are being carried out with necessary security measures in place.
