Two escaped prisoners arrested



KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested two inmates who had escaped from the Jagannath Deval Sundhara Prison Office during protests on September 8 and 9.

According to CIB spokesperson Shiva Kumar Shrestha, the arrested individuals are Shyamlal Dangol of Tokha, Kathmandu, and Binod Gautam of Shivapuri, Nuwakot. They were serving prison sentences in cases related to human trafficking, kidnapping, hostage-taking, and organized crime.
