UML Chair Oli making first public appearance since Gen Z protests

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, who had stepped down and remained under military protection following the Gen Z protests, is set to make his first public appearance today, Friday.

Oli is scheduled to attend a special event organized by the UML to mark Constitution Day. This appearance will be his first since the protests, which led to a period of seclusion.

The event, to be held in Chyasal, is expected to highlight the party’s official position on the Gen Z movement. According to UML youth wing spokesperson Niraj Paudel, all affiliated organizations have been instructed to participate with proper identification. Paudel also confirmed that Oli will deliver a keynote address during the program.
