Oli to appear publicly for the first time since Gen-Z protests



KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli, who resigned from his post and remained under military protection following the Gen-Z protests, is set to appear in public tomorrow, Friday.

Oli will attend a special event organized by the UML on the occasion of Constitution Day. This will be his first public appearance since the Gen-Z protests. During the event at Chyasal, the UML is expected to present its stance on the Gen-Z movement.

According to Niraj Paudel, spokesperson of the UML’s youth wing, all affiliated organizations have been instructed to attend the event with proper identification. Paudel added that Oli will also deliver a special address during the program.
