Government committed for prosperity through good governance: Minister Gurung



LAMJUNG: Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, has asserted that the government was committed to prosperity in the country through the medium of good governance.

Inaugurating the ‘First Lamjung Sports and Cultural Festival’ organized by District Sports Development Committee at Sahaji playground at Besisahar municipality-7 today, Minister Gurung shared that it was necessary to control corruption to maintain good governance.

“The government is working actively to steer the country in the right path by correcting all weaknesses,” he mentioned, adding “We are in the phase of improving our country’s economy.”

Also, the Spokesperson of the government, Minister Gurung, said Lamjung district is rich in view of sports and culture, and it was necessary to protect and promote it. “Sports is very important genre to make the country renowned in international level,” he said, adding that such festival organized in the district will help identify hidden talents.

Minister Gurung stressed the need of policy-level reform to control corruption.
