KATHMANDU: Today, artisans marked Bastu Diwas and Bishwakarma Puja by worshipping Lord Bishwakarma. On this occasion, vehicles, factories, and various machinery were also offered rituals.

Every year, Bishwakarma Puja is celebrated on the day of Ashwin Sankranti. This year, a large number of devotees gathered at Bhadrakali temple in Kathmandu to worship Lord Bishwakarma.

Traditionally, idols or images of Lord Bishwakarma are installed at factories and workshops for rituals. The idols worshipped today are immersed in rivers the following day. Factories are decorated for the occasion, and workers actively participate in the celebrations.
