Thapathali corridor disrupted after sewage pipe burst

KATHMANDU: The Thapathali corridor in Kathmandu plunged into disarray after a sewer pipe burst on Thursday, flooding the road and creating havoc for commuters.

The broken pipe caused sewage to overflow onto the street, submerging vehicles and motorcycles. The road has become muddy and slippery, making it extremely difficult for both four-wheelers and two-wheelers to pass through.

Pedestrians have also been affected, struggling to navigate the flooded and unsanitary conditions. The situation has added to the daily commuting woes in one of the capital’s busiest corridors.
