President Paudel inspects Kathmandu-Tarai Madhesh fast track project

KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has inspected the ongoing construction of the Kathmandu-Terai Madhes Fast Track project, a national pride initiative being managed by the Nepal Army.

During his visit, he reviewed the progress and activities undertaken so far, receiving updates on the project’s status.

As part of his inspection, Paudel visited construction sites, including tunnels, bridges, and roads. He gathered detailed information about the efforts being made to complete the project and the challenges faced by the team.

Speaking after the inspection, Paudel urged the Nepal Army to work with high morale and ensure the timely completion of the project, emphasizing its importance as a top-priority national infrastructure endeavor.

The fast-track highway, which traverses Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Makwanpur before connecting to Nijgadh in Bara and linking with the East-West Highway, is expected to significantly contribute to the country’s development and prosperity.
