KATHMANDU: Gold prices have reached a record high in Nepal, climbing by a staggering Rs 2,700 in a single day.
On Wednesday, gold is being traded at Rs 187,000 per tola, the highest rate ever recorded.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price had stood at Rs 184,300 per tola on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, silver is trading at Rs 1,955 per tola, showing a more moderate fluctuation.
This significant jump in gold prices reflects ongoing trends in the international market, driven by economic uncertainty and rising global demand.
