Gold price down by Rs 2,700 per tola today



KATHMANDU: Gold prices, which saw a slight increase on Friday, fell sharply today, with silver also becoming cheaper.

The price of gold, which rose by Rs 400 per tola on Friday, has dropped significantly today (Sunday).

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, gold prices have fallen by Rs 2,700 per tola today.

As of today, the price of gold stands at Rs one lakh sixty-seven thousand five hundred rupees per tola.

Last Friday, it had reached one lakh seventy thousand two hundred rupees per tola.

The previous Thursday, gold had increased by two thousand three hundred rupees per tola, followed by a smaller rise of only four hundred rupees on Friday.

On Wednesday, gold prices had also dropped by two thousand seven hundred rupees per tola.

Today, the price of silver has also decreased by fifteen rupees per tola. Silver is being bought and sold at one thousand nine hundred fifty-five rupees per tola, compared to one thousand nine hundred seventy rupees last Friday.
