KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is set to hold provincial-level mass meetings this month.

The party’s central working committee has decided to organize mass meetings in various cities across the country, with plans for a Kathmandu-centered movement in March.

Having focused on strengthening its organization and holding smaller meetings throughout Magh, the RPP is now preparing for general meetings in Chipledhunga, Pokhara, Gandaki Province on February 21; Butwal, Lumbini on February 27; and Dhangadhi, Sudurpaschim on March 2, according to RPP spokesperson and publicity department chief Mohan Kumar Shrestha.

He added that the meetings in Pokhara, Butwal, and Dhangadhi will be addressed by senior party leaders, including Chairman Rajendra Lingden.

Spokesperson Shrestha further mentioned that the RPP is organizing various programs nationwide to oppose the government’s flawed practices, corruption, and widespread injustice.

These efforts aim to raise awareness among the public and shape opinion on issues affecting people’s livelihoods.

“We have decided in the central working committee meeting to hold conventions from the ward to district levels,” he stated.

The RPP has been advocating for the restoration of the Hindu nation and monarchy, the abolition of the provincial structure, and a directly elected executive prime minister.
