Gold and silver prices up



KATHMANDU: Prices of gold and silver have increased in Nepal, influenced by rising rates in the international market.

The price of gold in the international market today stands at USD 2,695 per ounce.

In the domestic market, the price of gold surged by Rs 1,200 per tola, reaching Rs 156,600, as reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

On Wednesday, the price was Rs 155,400 per tola.

Similarly, silver prices have climbed by Rs 50, with one tola now costing Rs 1,880, compared to Rs 1,830 the previous day.
