National Assembly taking place today



KATHMANDU: The National Assembly of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to convene today at 11:45 AM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During the session, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is slated to present the Sixth Annual Report of the National Inclusion Commission for the Fiscal Year 2080/81.

Additionally, National Assembly Secretary Dr. Surendra Aryal is expected to table the Integrated Report of the Coordination Meeting with Electoral Colleges held across all seven provinces.

Meanwhile, five parliamentary committees are also meeting today. The International Relations and Tourism Committee is set to discuss the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority Bill, 2081 and the Nepal Air Services Authority Bill, 2081, with a detailed comparative analysis to be presented by the concerned ministry.

Similarly, the Industry, Commerce, Labour, and Consumer Welfare Committee will deliberate on the Import and Export (Regulation) Bill, 2081, consulting with subject matter experts.

The Agriculture, Cooperatives, and Natural Resources Committee will evaluate preparations for the upcoming Hind Kush Himalayan Parliament Meet–2025.

Likewise, the Public Accounts Committee will discuss complaints related to the load-carrying capacity of trucks. The Legislative Management Committee has scheduled a clause-wise discussion on the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081, as per the committee’s official notice.
