Indian Embassy gifts ambulance to Simkot Rural Municipality



HUMLA: The Embassy of India in Kathmandu has donated an ambulance to Simkot Rural Municipality in Humla district under the Nepal-India Development Partnership Programme.

Rural Municipality Chair Bijay Bhandari said the ambulance, handed over on Saturday, will be used to transport patients from all eight wards of Simkot.

He noted that the new vehicle will make it easier to take patients to the hospital, as the municipality previously lacked such a facility.
