NEPSE closes with a sharp drop of 78.83 points



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Sunday witnessed a significant decline, falling by 78.83 points (3.05%) to close at 2,503.35. This follows a loss of 22.59 points in the previous trading session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,583.97 and reached an intraday high of 2,584.24 before dipping to a low of 2,493.16.

Total daily turnover stood at Rs. 6.7 billion, with 14,364,682 shares traded across 324 companies in 67,202 transactions. The overall market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 4.18 trillion, while the float market capitalization stood at Rs. 1.42 trillion.
