Gold price rises by Rs 3,000 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged by Rs 3,000 per tola compared to last Friday, while silver has also seen an increase of Rs 40 per tola.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold was traded at Rs 235,000 per tola last Friday. As of today, the price has risen to Rs 238,000. Similarly, silver, which was priced at Rs 3,085 per tola last week, is now being traded at Rs 3,125.

In the international market, the price of gold has also shown a significant uptick. As reported by international media, one ounce of gold is currently being traded at US$4,016.
