Current government will continue until elections: PM Oli

JHAPA: Prime Minister (PM) KP Sharma Oli has affirmed that the current government will continue its tenure confidently until the next elections.

Speaking at a program in Kankai Municipality, Jhapa, on Saturday, where land ownership certificates were distributed to landless Dalits, squatters, and unorganized settlers, PM Oli stated that the government is committed to bringing about significant change.

“Let those predicting the fall of this government keep doing so — one year has already passed,” Oli said.

“I will remain Prime Minister for another year, after which, as per our agreement, I will hand over leadership to Nepali Congress President and my long-time comrade in the democratic movement, Sher Bahadur Deuba.”

Reaffirming his commitment, he added, “This journey will continue until the elections. I urge all friends and allies to move forward with confidence.”
