Startup World Cup Nepal-2025 grand finale in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: The grand finale of the Startup World Cup Nepal-2025 is set to take place in Kathmandu on April 24, offering a platform for the nation’s top startups to compete for a chance to represent Nepal at the global finale in Silicon Valley, USA.

Organized as part of the prestigious global Startup World Cup competition, the event aims to connect Nepal’s most promising startups, investors, advisors, and entrepreneurs with an international network of opportunities.

Dr. Shambhu Pokharel, South Asia Chief of Startup World Cup and Chairperson of Startup World Cup Nepal, said the event is expected to significantly contribute to building a stronger and more dynamic startup ecosystem in the country.

“This competition will inspire Nepali startups to embrace global perspectives and expand their network beyond borders,” Dr. Pokharel said.

Ten standout startups selected from across Nepal will compete in the grand finale, where one will be crowned the Startup World Cup Nepal Champion. The winner will advance to the world finale in Silicon Valley, gaining access to international exposure and potential investment opportunities.

The Startup World Cup is a global competition organized by Pegasus Tech Ventures, designed to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship by providing a global stage to emerging startups from over 70 countries.
