Death toll rises to 34 in Gen-Z protests



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health has reported that 34 people have died so far during the Gen-Z protests held on Monday and Tuesday. According to the ministry’s data, 1,338 individuals are receiving treatment at hospitals across the country, while 949 have already been discharged.

Among the fatalities, six were reported at Civil Hospital in Kathmandu, eight at the National Trauma Center, three at Everest Hospital, five at Bheri Hospital, three at Frontline Hospital, two each at KMC Hospital, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, and Bayodha Hospital, and one each at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Ilam Hospital, and B&C Hospital.

The ministry continues to monitor the situation closely and provide updates on the condition of the injured and hospital capacities.
