KATHMANDU: Nepal is likely to experience partly cloudy conditions in mountainous and hilly regions, with light rain and snowfall possible in some areas due to the partial influence of westerly winds.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the mountainous and hilly regions, including Koshi Province, today. Light rain is likely at one or two places in the mountainous areas.
This afternoon, light rain and snowfall are possible at one or two places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
At night, partly cloudy conditions are expected in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, as well as the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces. The weather will remain mainly clear in the remaining hilly and Terai regions.
The Division has also forecast light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces tonight.
Meanwhile, a few places in the Terai regions, valleys and river gorges may experience mist and fog during the morning hours.
