Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 136.67 and the selling rate is Rs 137.27.

The euro is being bought at Rs 156.15 and sold at Rs 156.84, while the pound sterling is being bought at Rs 184.47 and sold at Rs 185.28. The buying and selling rates for the Swiss franc are Rs 166.42 and Rs 167.15 respectively.

The Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 89.06 and sold at Rs 89.45. The Canadian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 99.84 and a selling rate of Rs 100.27.

Similarly, the Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 106.29 and sold at Rs 106.76. Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.45 and the selling rate is Rs 9.50. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.02 and sold at Rs 19.11.

Likewise, the Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 36.44 and sold at Rs 36.60, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.50 and sold at Rs 37.66.

The buying and selling rates of the Thai baht are Rs 4.19 and Rs 4.21 respectively. The UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 37.21 (buying) and Rs 37.37 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 32.27 (buying) and Rs 32.41 (selling).

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.10 and the selling rate is Rs 10.05. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.27 and sold at Rs 14.33, while the Danish krone is being traded at Rs 20.93 (buying) and Rs 21.02 (selling).

In addition, the Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of Rs 17.41 and a selling rate of Rs 17.49. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 446.36 and sold at Rs 448.32.

The Bahraini dinar is being traded at Rs 362.47 (buying) and Rs 364.06 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 355.01 (buying) and Rs 356.57 (selling).

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15. The Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as necessary.
