Two quintals of marijuana seized in Siraha



SIRAHA: A significant quantity of marijuana has been seized from the banks of the Balan River in Bhagwan Rural Municipality-2, Siraha.

According to Naresh Bhandari, Chief of the local Armed Police Force, a patrol team recovered 219 kilograms and 400 grams of marijuana early this morning. The contraband was found hidden in nine sacks at a concealed location along the riverbank.

Authorities have launched an investigation to identify the individuals or group responsible for stashing the marijuana.
