Gen-Z meeting discusses leadership, mentions Balen Shah and Sushila Karki

KATHMANDU: Members of the Gen-Z movement held an online meeting Wednesday to draft their agenda, with discussions centering on Kathmandu Mayor Balen Shah and former Chief Justice Sushila Karki.

Participants debated sending about 15 representatives to approach Shah and Karki for possible involvement. They argued that trusted figures should lead the movement and that consultations with lawyers would also be necessary.

Some members suggested that leaders must be capable of negotiating with the army and taking responsibility for compensation related to Tuesday’s incidents. Nepalis abroad also joined the Zoom call and shared their views.
