KATHMANDU: Police have arrested a prisoner who escaped from the Jagannath Dewal Central Office during the Gen-Z demonstrations on September 8 and 9.
The detainee, 22-year-old Subin Gurung of Siranchok Rural Municipality-8 in Gorkha, currently residing in Manmaiju, Tarakeshwar, had been absconding in a wildlife smuggling case.
Senior Superintendent of Police Shiva Kumar Shrestha stated that Gurung was apprehended in Manamaiju on Monday and has since been sent back to the Central Jail.
