KATHMANDU: Lawmakers of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have decided to collectively resign from Parliament following an emergency meeting of the party’s parliamentary group on Tuesday.

Soon after the decision, several lawmakers announced their resignations on Facebook. According to senior party leaders, all resignation letters will be formally submitted to the Speaker today.

RSP leaders also said all lawmakers will post status updates on social media declaring their resignations.
