Deuba bats for internal unity in NC



DANG: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that no other political force can defeat the NC provided that the NC maintained internal unity.

At a cadres’ meeting programme at Ghorahi in Dang on Sunday, President Deuba asked the party leaders and cadres to unite by reiterating that a robust unity was needed in the NC.

“No one can defeat us if we unite. So, unity in the party is required,” he said.

The NC President viewed that NC cadres and leaders should work united also in the development initiatives to make the party stronger.

Likewise, Deuba said that the airport in Dang district needs to be upgraded and pledged to hold talks with the Prime Minister and experts for the Tarigaun Airport at Tulsipur, Dang.

“The airport here should be expanded for operating flights from big aircrafts. This is the need of Dang. I will also take initiatives for this,” he assured.
