Govt directs all districts to honor 45 Gen-Z martyrs at CDO offices



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed all district administration offices to display the names of 45 Gen-Z Good Governance Warriors who died during the recent Gen-Z movement in the office of the Chief District Officer (CDO).

The ministry issued a circular to all 77 district offices, directing them to arrange the display within three days. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal approved the ministerial decision for this arrangement today.

The government had declared 45 individuals who lost their lives during the demonstrations on September 8 and 9 as martyrs. The official notice regarding their martyrdom was published in the Nepal Gazette on November 3.
