EV microbus accident injures 16 in Makwanpur



BAGMATI: Sixteen people were injured in an EV microbus accident at Harami Chowk, Ward 4 of Bagmati Rural Municipality, Makwanpur, along the Madan Bhandari Highway early this morning.

The microbus (registration number M.P. 02-001 Ja 0072), en route from Sindhuli to Hetauda, collided with a motorcycle (Na 5 Pa 5558) that was entering the highway from an inner road. The impact caused the microbus to lose control and plunge approximately 15 feet into a ravine.

Among the injured were passengers from the microbus as well as the motorcyclist. All 16 individuals were rescued and transported to Sambhi Polyclinic and Cooperative Hospital for medical treatment, according to Inspector Thakur Sapkota of the District Police Office, Makwanpur.
