Bagmati Province govt announces public holiday today



KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Province government has announced a public holiday across the province today.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law, the holiday has been declared to mark the Province’s Official Language Day.

Ministry spokesperson Rabita Adhikari stated that the decision to observe a holiday was made on Chaitra 21.

Bagmati Province comprises 13 districts, including Kathmandu, Lalitpur, and Bhaktapur within the Kathmandu Valley, as well as Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Dolakha, Dhading, Kavre, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Sindhupalchowk, Chitwan, and Makawanpur.
