DPM Shrestha criticizes comparison between workers and gossipmongers

KATHMANDU: Minister for Urban Development Prakash Man Singh condemned comparing hard workers with gossipmongers.

Inaugurating a building for the ward office for ward no 29 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City here today, DPM Singh expressed his qualm over the notion of those gossipmongers that constitution promulgation was insignificant.

“Some claim that constitution promulgation was not a big deal. Then what does it take to deliver significant works?,” the DPM angrily questioned, denouncing the comparison between those who deliver diligently with those who only talkshop.

He urged the public to discern the true intention behind the gossip and noises being waged by some gossipmongers.

The DPM also called public for a clear assessment between those who truly serve people through politics or those make politics as their meal ticket.

On a different note, he clarified that the Nepali Congress and CPN-UML came together to form a stable government and delivering accordingly.

As for the ordinances introduced by the incumbent government while the parliament was open for its business, he explained that those ordinances were brought with an objective to revitalize the national economy.

He also emphasized utilizing the unused public land be repurposed for public and local residents should be able to use such lands.

According to him, the government was working towards this end.
