Ridi-Balkot road closed till March 4



GULMI: The Ridi-Balkot road along Madan Bhandari highway in Gulmi district has been closed for a month.

Vehicular movement has been closed along the road section for carrying out the road widening works at Ruruchhetra rural municipality-1.

Issuing a notice, Madan Bhandari highway project office, Gulmi, shared that the road would remain closed till March 4.

Officiating Chief of the Project, Humnath Poudel, urged the vehicles to used alternative roads during the period following the possible risk due to road widening task.

Satmure-Ridi via Shringa Baletaksar, Satmure-Harthok of Palpa via CG, Satmureraha-Ridi via Thado khola have been brought into use as the alternative routes.

The Project Office also requested Gulmi and Arghakhanchi’s District Coordination Committees, District Administration Office, District Police Office, Ruruchhetra rural municipality, Chhatrakot rural municipality, Chhatradev rural municipality, Armed Police Force Company, Urleni, Paschim Nepal Bus Entrepreneurs’ Committee for necessary coordination and facilitation.
