Parties except Congress and UML meet at Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: A joint meeting of political parties, excluding the ruling Nepali Congress and main opposition CPN-UML, is underway at Singha Durbar.

The meeting was called by CPN (Maoist Centre) chair and leader of the opposition, Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’.

According to Prachanda’s secretariat, the parties are discussing the Political Party Self-Assessment Procedure, 2082, a draft proposal circulated by the Election Commission to political parties for feedback by Shrawan 22.

The meeting is being held at the Maoist Centre’s parliamentary party office in Singha Durbar and includes leaders of all parliamentary parties except Nepali Congress and CPN-UML.
