Gold and silver prices rise sharply in Nepal



KATHMANDU: The price of gold and silver has surged again in the Nepali market.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 273,900 per tola, while today it has reached Rs 290,200 per tola, marking a daily rise of Rs 6,700.

Silver prices have also seen an uptick, rising by Rs 145 per tola. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, silver is now trading at Rs 4,845 per tola, up from Rs 4,700 the previous day. Over the past week, silver has gained Rs 340 per tola.
